    Changes in NSS6 satellite parameters

    Please be informed of a DVB carrier parameters change scheduled for Sunday 04.1.09 08:00-08:30 GMT.

    Mandatory identification in Tellinet (modified)

    Secure Tellinet identification has been implemented. New identity string consists of ciphered account data, this way new identification scheme provides higher level of security then old scheme with plain text login. New recv.ini file you can download from our site.

       Satellite Fleet : : HellasSat 2
    THE SPACE UNIT HELLAS SAT 2 (39° E)

    Hellas Sat " represents the satellite of "Astrium Eurostar 2000+ model. It is started in the beginning of 2003. Its weight - 3250 kg. It has 30 Ku-band transponders, which provide voice video and data services in the territory of the Europe, Africa, the Near East and southeast Asia.


    Hellas SAT 2 has a number of conclusive advantages, such as:

    • practically maximal for for all cover zone of beam S2 an eminence of the satellite above horizon that provides the least dependence of a signal on atmospheric precipitation;
    • presence of automatic adjustment of transponder strengthening транспондеров, that also reduces sensitivity atmospheric conditions;
    • lifetime of the satellite not less than 12 years.
